KCW is
perfect to finish those projects that, for some reason, were left behind.
This is one of them!
I started Teresa’s dress in January but my sewing machine blew up and only finished it over a month later. Then I made the second dress, for Ines, but it still lacked the embroidery.
Yesterday was a holiday in Portugal. It was a beautiful sunny day and the girls were at home so we went to the beach. I took the dress and everything I needed to make the embroidery and made it while chatting with my friends (thanks Catarina for the photo.)
Unfortunately it got cold in the evening and I couldn’t make a photo shooting session on the beach. The photographs were taken at home today and my daughters were not so eager to be top models this time...
The pattern for these dresses is an Oliver and S "free pattern" and you can get it here.
I draw the hart garland on my computer and saved it into a PDF file that can also be downloaded in these sizes: 3 years, 4 years, 5 years and 6 years. (If you have any problems downloading it please tell me!)

And I think I will not be sewing anymore for this edition of KCW... The weekend starts tomorow and it will be time to play with my children (in their new hand made clothes!)
