JARDINEIRAS . OVERALLS

Here is the garment - and here is the preview I've showed you same days ago - that has given me more pleasure to seecompleted so far: a pair of overalss with ruffled straps.
The model was based on these vintage overalls and the pattern was made with the help of another pair that were lent to be. I always thought it was a very difficult piece of clothing to make but I tried keeping it simple and I ended up findingthat it was fairly easy.
The buttons are vintage, found at a storein Cascais that wasgetting rid of its old goods (almost all the others were as beautiful as these and I lost my head and bought dozens of them!) I know that the fabric does not suit everyone but I love it! Perhaps, for the more conservative, it could be made with denim and a “liberty” cotton linen ...
Hope you like it!
