Eu fico
medo nenhum.
Infelizmente esqueci-me de levar a minha máquina fotográfica.

As miúdas e a
impressionante.
Casa das Historias Paula Rego, a great museum in
Cascais, birthday was celebrated this weekend.
We went to the party and the girls enjoyed themselves immensely! I'm always a bit apprehensive with activities for children based on Paula Rego’s imaginary. Everything is always so violent ... But they love it! It seems that they have some kind of affinity with those strange stories strange and, curiously, they don´t have any fear.
Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera. I was saved by my sister's phone...
Do you like Ines’s new skirt? It’s the last think that I’ve done with my sewing machine. I've been too lazy to take pictures of my work these last weeks. In October I promise to be back to serious work!

Some words about the building that is home to the Casa das Histórias.
It is undoubtedly the most interesting contemporary building Cascais. It was designed by the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, who won the Pritzker Prize in 2011. It's all built in pigmented concrete and it's beautiful!
The images were found on the net because, again, the machine was left at home. I need a compact camera! The girls and a big heavy camera are becoming incompatible.

Some words about Paula Rego and her work.
It is one of the most important Portuguese contemporary artists. The first exhibition I saw of her work was a huge retrospective in CCB. I liked it so much that I bought the catalog! Lately, for some reason, the works that I saw always left me disturbed. I can’t overcome the violence of her imagination... But there is no doubt that her work continues to be impressive.
